NOTE: Version 1.25B (and later) fix bug V1.25A-8, which in doing so triggers changes
to some auto-generated macro names in the *_defines.h host interface file. Additionally,
with this release several other macro name consistency issues have been addressed. All of
these changes result in some backwards compatibility issues in a few instances, detailed
below. While it is not our policy to introduce compatibility issues, in this instance we
deemed it important enough to achieve consistency for the future that these changes have
been instituted.
- Channel frame and engine (eTPU2) variables of type _Bool now correctly contain "BOOLBITOFFSET"
in the auto-generated macro name that specifies the _Bool bit location. Additionally,
such macro names for channel frame variables also contain the eTPU class/function
name.
- Global array, struct and union variable location macros containthe prefix "GLOB_VAR"
rather than just "GLOB" in order to be consistent with all other global variables.
- Channel variables of struct/union type with members of array type now properly include
the eTPU class/function name as part of the auto-generated macro name.
The upgrade utility has certain requirements as listed below.
